The city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, hosted on Friday, September 8, 2023, the handicrafts exhibition, organized by the Prosperity Catalyst organization with the support of the United States Agency for Development”USAID”, with the participation of more than 27 entrepreneurs and handicrafts leaders in the governorates of Erbil and Nineveh.
The exhibition witnessed the display of a variety of artistic products, including paintings, candles made from natural materials, clothes, jewelry, sculptures referring to the history and civilization of Iraq, hand-woven furniture, accessories and various gifts, made by the hands of Iraqi women and youth.
The exhibition aims to support local craftsmen and national industries and empower entrepreneurs by promoting their products and enhancing their role in local markets to strengthen the national economy.
