The Syrian refugee, Amal Jamal Amro, is working to expand the pet hotel project, which she founded about a year ago in the city of Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, to provide hotel services and care for dogs and cats left by their owners during their travels abroad.

Amal, who has lived for more than 7 years in the city of Erbil, lost her job in a company more than two years ago due to the spread of the Corona epidemic, and she benefited from her love for pets and her experience in the field of animal rescue to establish her own project called “Amal Pets”, which consists of A hotel for animals, but in a new way, as the hotel allows freedom of movement for animals inside private rooms without being restricted or confined in cages.

In addition to food, bathing and care, the hotel provides walking services for dogs on a daily basis, and the hotel management recently added a transaction processing service and procedures for the travel of dogs by issuing their own official papers in order to be able to accompany their owners during travel.

In addition to these services, the hotel provides a service to adopt dogs left by their owners, so the hotel adopts them and then offers them for adoption, but with several conditions, foremost of which is that the adopter provides them with the appropriate environment and care and does not offer them for sale or cause them harm.
